Marcel Dupré, Organist  Cavaillé-Coll Organ (1862), Saint-Sulpice, Paris, recorded, 1959
The near mint Westminster LP source of this transfer was released in 1959 yet the fair to good sound seems to indicate an earlier date.  Sonic intrusions were carefully reduced and we added our very popular stereo effect in widen the sonic stage. This a must for Dupré admirers.  He followed Charles-Marie Widor as St. Sulpice organist in 1937.

Organ Music of Alexandre-Pierre-François Boëly (1785-1858)
Jean Boyer, Organist (Clicqout Organ (1777 at L'Eglise de Saint-Nicolas des Champs, Paris)

A very rare Lp was loaned to us for this transfer to CD.  The music is very unique as it is realized by a French composer who is not well known but his life span rests during years which include late Mozart and Haydn, all of Beethoven, and   most Berlioz's life giving Boëly's organ music a different and special quality.  Unique still, is this Clicquot organ, one that was hardly altered from 1777 to 1973, the year of this recording.  This release comes to you with a high recommendation.
